Motorola V180 or Nokia 3220?
Alrighty, gonna be getting a phone soon, and it's gotta be rogers/fido because of reception. Dont worry about the plan, just looking for a phone with good reception and voice quality. The 2 phones in the thread title I just happen to like the way they look, but I can choose from most of these phones:

Can't beat Nokia... Great reception, amazing menu (ease of use), durable, great battery life (wayy better then Moto.) I have the Nokia 3220b from rogers.. it's a great phone... I recently retired it for the Nokia 6230b because of Bluetooth.

hahaha no ngage.
sexier, I have a friend who swears by nokia too... but I've heard the motorola might be better because of the antenna sticking out of the phone a bit... I dunno. |
i would recommend going on the rogers network with the 3220b. just because the network is much bigger than fido, and since rogers owns fido now, you can roam onto fidos network if you need to for free, whereas if ur on fido u still have to pay to roam onto rogers.
depending on your usage there are two plans i normally recommend $35 for 150 daytime min/ 6p.m. unlimited evening and weekends OR $45 for 350 daytime min/ 6p.m. unlimited evening and weekends i work at a wireless wave, so if you have any more questions, lemme know. |
Motorola V551
I'm also with Rogers. It's a great phone ! It also has Bluetooth capabilities, if need be. http://212.213.255.72/keepthls/pics/.../mov555_00.jpg |
