Well, last week it was time to put the old xp2500 barton to rest, she is now residing under another desk in my office.
I will likely format her, clean her up and just keep her around as gamer machine.

After many years of service it was just time to upgrade.

So now to what i got.
xp5200+ dual core
asus mb
2 gigs of ram
asus video card
500 gig hd
antec case

specs i got asus A8N -SLI motherboard
2 gigs of ram and only 200 gb of rd spae for power supply and couldnt tell ya
and i got the older 6800 geforce card thats why id like feed back on the 8800 because i plan on running to grafix cards and getting 2 more gigs of kingston hyperx ram

i used to run the 6600GT.

I have no real complaints about this system. It has its moments and has flaked out a few times on me.

MY old xp2500 was a rock solid machine until the PSU went south.

The video card is awesome for the games i play when i have time, Call Of Duty, Empire Earth etc. Im not running any of the latest games though, no time.

anyhow, just got an RMA for my asus video card.
Its been acting flakie and has dropped off a few times.

Going to go pick up another and then send this one off.

Looks like a budget rig. Try a core 2 duo and a video card that isn't last generation next time DooF......
