The rise of Canadian cyber crime

The end of the Cold War combined with the advent of the Internet gave rise to an unprecedented wave of electronic espionage and crime. Michel Juneau-Katsuya witnessed first-hand the rise of cyber crime as a senior manager with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) at the time. In 2000, Mr. Juneau-Katsuya left public service to become founding chief executive of security consulting firm Northgate Group. He recently spoke with Financial Post technology reporter Jameson Berkow about the growing digital threat and how companies should respond. Re: The rise of Canadian cyber crime

Help me understand the rise of the Canadian dollar?
1. The affects of the rise of the Canadian dollar has not been felt equally across the Canada. Identify the roles of the federal and provincial governments in dealing with these unequal affects.

2. In 2007, the Canadian dollar rose approximately 25% against the United States dollar. Describe the cause and effects of the rising Canadian dollar for the Canadian economy in your answer, assess the impact of the rising dollar on Canadas competitiveness and assess whether the government should intervene with fiscal or monetary policy measure.

3.Identify an industry sector negatively affected by the rising Canadian dollar and an interest group that is lobbying government for relief for the industry sector identified.

Any thoughts, ladies and gentleman?
