I got lucky and my virus detector caught it before something happened....

if its from people on ur list who already have it, how come i never heard of this email address..

anyways, i have heard there is a way to get rid of it, and to find out if you have it, alt cont del to see if there is a program running you didn;t know about

LMAO... well if u have MSN 7 u won't have to worry about file transfers anymore...


Microshit totally disabled tranfers of JPG's, MP3's, EXE's, etc... Stupid s.

ummmm it comes frmo people on yur list also. moron. I've had it come to me about 4 times, all from people on my list


Notorious.. They disabled it COMPLETELY?!?! that's ing dumb as hell. I thought it was just me who couldn't accept anything.. ers.

I knew i had it, casue like 40 message boxes opened, and it sent a link to them all. THat's how I knew. I ran spybot, and Ad-aware.. THen just in case, I did a system restore, to a few hours before. I'm pretty sure I don't have it.

I also got the

"hey its you" link.

It has a bug though. It doesnt work for everyone. I got lucky and it didnt work. A few others have been just as lucky. I think all you have to do is restart and then delete the file in the "recieved files" folder. This is what I was told to do.

It's tied in with Windows' SP2 and ...

So far the only way around it is to edit the msn's EXE in Binary

i have msn 7 and i can transfer anything i want.. already transfered mp3 with no problem

^Ya....now go and update to the latest MSN 7...and i gaurantee u wont be able to...

the new MSN 7 has personal space, u can leave personal messages, let ppl. hear what ur listening to, etc....

do u have the 'official' one that's on the MSN site right now? if not, try it after upgrading.

Good thing I have a mac. But I'll watch out for this on my PC.
