Hey everyone. Allright so as of now Im running a 340 Holly carb + 340 filter on my 318 motor. It was a quick throw together to get the car moving around. But now Im starting to get her back the way she was to perfect running condition. She runs perfect now but I heard rumour adding the 340 carb to the 318 motor you wouldbe dumping a mass amount of fuel into the cylinders causing it to lace the walls with fuel. Is this true?

If so, should I get the carb rebuilt and lower the fuel mixture or should I just buy a whole new carb set up?
