1965/2003 Cobra/Mustang project

Check this site out:

www.sn65.com

Its about a owner of a body shop who is in the process of Graffting a 1965 Mustang Fastback on to a 2003 Mustang Cobra platform.

Pretty neat stuff.

thats seems like alot of work, wouldn't swapping suspension into the 65 be easier?

i got a question, when you get rid of the rust do u replace the hole panels with a new one, or do you cut the rust out and patch it\? :drive:
prolject looks sick

all depends on how much you wanna spend and the size of the rust.

The only way to get rid of rust is to cut it out. If you want a quick fix then weld in a patch. If you want quality its best to replace the panel.

Sure its alot of work. Putting in the 03 Cobra suspension might have be a little easier, but it would not have looked as good. They wanted this car to look like it came from the factory this way.

and from the vid that was posted they did a hell of a job.
