Cowl Hood

Would I be considered a "poser" if I installed a 2" cowl hood on my stock 5.0 ?

Nope it would be a nice accent. Now if it was a pro stock snorkle
hood scoop that would be another story

Thanks, I know in the end its my car and what I like should only matter, was just curious to know ...btw, its made by Kaenan who Steeda uses for their hoods, fit and finish is equal to or IMO surpasses Cervini. Pics soon to follow....

8 UR VETTE said it best! It's a nice addition, and with the right stance can make any Stang look very mean!!! A good quality hood is the most important, cheesy fiberglass units that dont line up just don't look right.

Update with pics....

Installed the cowl hood, fitment is great, just a bit more tweaking to line up with the passenger side fender(I could leave it but I'm picky)....click to enlarge

Me too at first, but getting to like them more. Something different from a regular cowl hood. Price was right, and I didn't have to paint it!
