More power for a 99 mustang gt
 

my friend has a 99 mustang gt and wants to get around 350-400 hp he was think about nitrous but he's not sure about supers or turbo's what should he do to reach his goal

your average supercharger, a vortech S, trim will net you about 400RWHP on the 2V GT\'s... I generally see most guys in the 360-420RWHP range with a blower on a 99-04GT

i would definately go the super charged way for the difference in price turbo arent worth
the investement plus they site too close to the eadlight clearence is not so good
and very easy to heat soak the systhem plus for the difference in price your friend
could do even more to his car and still have alot of place for improvement in the future

i think personaly nos is the most unreliable source of power out their it is a good bang for the money but not for so long then wen you start to have problems with it it usualy means a rebuild

for $5 grand your buddy could have the 400 rwhp he is looking for if he goes with a vortech install...this is the best bang for the buck on these newer stangs when you're looking for substantial power imporovement - w/o breaking the bank.
