88stangnl street rep is low. keep going
Question No signal lights?

I have an 88' Mustang. My signal lights all of a sudden stopped working. Tried changing the fuse but that didn't work. My hazard lights and windshield wipers still work. Could it possibly be my multi function switch if hazards and wipers are still working? I also read that it could be the flasher relay fuse? If this is a possible problem, does anyone know where i can locate it? I love the car and badly want to get it on the road before summer is gone. Any input would be appreciated.

Based on everything I am reading, I am leaning toward the turn signal flasher relay. It is supposedly under the glove compartment or behind the stereo on passenger side. I have looked for the part but cannot locate it. Does anybody have a description of the part (# of prongs , color, etc) or a link to a picture. I have I haynes repair manual, but nothing in there. Thanks,
Ray

Never mind people. I fixed the problem. It was the turn signal flasher relay. To my surprise it was located on the drivers side not far from the four way relay. If anybody else has an 88' lx with the same problem, mine was located just to the left of the steering column, near the bottom. I spent probably a few hours looking on the passenger side lol. Live and learn. Peace

They're in various positions depending on the car...In my '87 it is behind the steering column.
