PICS: 67 Competition Coupe Mustang

Wow!!!!

Here are the specs:
Car - 1967 Mustang Coupe.
Engine - 396W Twin Turbo/intercooled dry sump with a carburetor, Tremec 5 speed, McLeod alum dual disc street twin clutch.
Wheels - 285/335 18 street tires, designed to take 12"/14" track wheels.
Suspension - 3 link/panhard full floater auburn 9", cusom designed front SLA with 19" long lower arms, custom Coleman spindles, AFCO d/a coilovers, BRT rack. 74" track width.
Other - Totally street legal (P/W & PDL !). Completely flat bottom floor with rear diffuser and splitter, vented hood for the radiator, 14" engine setback from a "stock" Mustang (Front blower pulley is several inches behind front axle line), double wall firewall, complete exhaust to the back valence with big "quiet" mufflers. 4.5" ground clearance, but fairly short overhangs means it actually has more clearance than the header collector rings on the "original" car, front clip dzused on and can be removed in minutes. Fuel cells in front of rear axle, and the same turning radius as the original car (harder than it sounds with 10.5" front wheels) http://board.ultimaterally.com/forum...s/04_yikes.gif

Chassis is based on a current Trans Am car...Built from scratch...Same size as the 05 Mustang...He may drop a 05 body on it for shits and giggles...Almost 800hp at the wheels!

having carbs give you the more ratio adjustment you want. fuel injected give you certain limits..

Midnight Racer 02-18-2005 03:29 PM

Looks mean but those flares ruin the car in my opinion.
