thinking of selling my stang

ive been toying with the idea of selling my stang and buying a bike, gas is going up and im gonna end up dead in the stang and probably on the bike, but id rather not remember it, lol.

1988 5 liter, 5 spd, 219 k. body is very clean, has one small spot of surface rust ofer by the back wheel where water got under the moulding. car is black in color and has no power options other than power steering. when i bought the car in october it was completely stock. nothing at all done to it, all ive done to it so far is a short throw shifter, colder t stat, bypassed the coolent lines, removed the silencer, timing and underdrive pullies. aside from that everything is still opriginal. interior is 2 tone, red and black and is very clean aswell. the floors on the car look almost brand new. car drives extremely well and went through a safety less than a month ago. itll need tires for a safety as my mech let the ones on the car slide, but other than that everything else is in perfect running condition. rear brakes are brand new. and its got a jvc mp3 deck in it. wonderign what this car is worth. also ive got a closet full of parts for it that id throw in for a little extra, complete rear end with 4:10 gears and moser axles, nx wet kit with jets from 50 - 150 hp. brand new electric fan with wiring. and a pair of black toms motorsports racing seats. the car also has brand new headlights and tail lights. also ive got a pair of 40 series flowmaster mufflers for it

links to some pics, theyre large so ill just leave links. the car is covered in dew in these pics as they were early morning shots. the paint is mostly original from what my friend tells me, hes a painter so i take his word on these things and id give the paintjob a 7/10. its got some scuffs on it and some stone chips but other than that the car cleans up very nicely

im not sure what its worth, would asking $5500 with all the extra parts be a fair number? again the car runs extremely well, it sat in storage for 6 months and fired up first shot, no hesitation at idle, no extra cranking. the car pulls very strong and the tranny has no grinding. oh forgot to mention, i changed the steering shaft to a flaming river unit a few weeks back.

$5500,... no offense is way too much, unless parts you mentioned are of the supercharger or serious head types,... I think $3000 to $4000 would be a fair asking price,.. maybe even on the generous side. Again just an opinion you asked what we thought.

to each teir own. i appreciate the opinion or i wouldnt have asked. i personally think that a relatively unmolested and unbeaten stang is worth a few bucks. ive got it listed so i guess we'll see what she fetches :)
