Thinking of starting a Project...Opinions?

Hey Guys thinking of starting a 69 mustang resto, im 17 and i think i can learn alot from doing it, plus it wouldnt hurt to have it in my portofilio. thinking of doing it with a couple friends.

so what do you think?

Hi there, well in my opinion, it all maters with what you really like. now are you looking to just restore or you also want to do some performance. If you looking to restore it is a good start but it will cost a pretty penny for the parts. I would rather do a fox body mustang 79-93. parts are cheap and everywhere stock and high performance. and you could buy one in rough shape for next to nothing.

I would go with the '67. Its a sweet old school ride. That one looks like it doesn't need to much to do. Parts are just as easy to find as the 79-93 models.

Clean up the paint and chrome. Clean up the interior. Do a 4 wheel disc brake setup, maybe some coil overs and nice rims and tire

make sure to add posi to the rear end


No matter what you do, there is only so many freebies and everything else starts costing considerably.
