What Is Your Favourite Exhaust System?
My personal favourite exhaust system would have to be Borla. The sound just does it for me, it is bar none the sweetest sound on pretty much every car I've heard them on. A close 2nd would be OLD SCHOOL Flowmasters, with an off road H pipe behind them.

I agree with borla. thats what i had on my truck.. the sound is amazing. Never had flowmaster, but i hear a lot of hype on horsepower tv..

I love Flowmaster, I have them on both of my Mustangs. I am also a big fan of MAC exhaust.
|
Flowmaster, though the loud drone gets tiring quick. Macs are alright, though i hear people refer to them as bus mufflers cause of the sound they make.
My favorite exhaust was my turbo exhaust. 2 resonators and a muffler. Was quiet ...well, quieter than 40 series flow masters :) |
mine :)
96 cobra with SHM LT's / catted x-pipe / flowmaster 2-chambers |
I personally have the bassani x with cats and magnapacks. The sound is better than any combo out here ! I have had 4 other set ups before this one and nothing compares! trust me. Deep idle and take off , plus at 4500 rpm and up it just screams . I spin in 1,2,3,4,and even chirp 5. Incredible exhaust

I would love to hear an exhaust clip! I used to have a 90 G.T. with the same setup except the dumps. I had mac on my cobra, but the sound just wasn't there. I also had the s.l.p. which sounded like a cat that had its tail stepped on. The bassani cat back was just too ricey sounding, and the original magnaflows were just too quiet. I originally had the magnaflow x- pipe which is friggin awesome and for sale now for only 200.00$ but i wanted removable cats , so now after many exhausts and much moey I have an exhaust that really screams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heres two videos, The Clutch was pretty much done. It was pretty tough to do some burnouts.

Flowmaster is very well known brand, my brother bought one, he has a ricer car, so it didn't sounded the way he wanted, I seen many up for sale on ebay at good prices. I think I'll go take a look now. Peace :fing26: .

I had BBK longtube ceramic coated headers, BBK shorty X pipe, no cats, and flowmaster 40 series, all 2 1/2 inch. It was by far a bad ass sound! This was on my 98 cobra.Very clean as far as ringing, fluttering and baffle rattling, very nasty sounding as far as power. Inside resonance was terrible, but I didn't care at that point. I didn't drive it everyday, and it wasn't set up for everyday use. I now have an 07 GT and have the flowmaster axle back, which is pretty nice with just mufflers, but I am planning on putting a Bassani x-pipe with cats, and shorty tuned length headers. We will see how that sounds.
