2nd, that was an lx i had looked at buying. It was from the east end. Had some cheese on it but otherwise wasnt bad.

Rear main was gone, cheese, some cracked interior. But the car pulled hard. Guy wanted like $6000 if i remember. IMO, wasnt worth what he wanted, had it been around $4500 i would have bought. I was just going to gut it anyways so i didnt want to spend a fortune on it.

From the east end? Looks like Oshawa to me. Or is that yer way of saying oshawa :D

The car was FAR from perfect, but better than most i had looked at.

But I don't think there's a Fox in the world that's worth $6000....especially not an older LX, not unless there's a bit of motor work or some nice rims and suspension or something.....I wouldn't pay 6 except for maybe a Cobra.

Hahahah you wouldnt get a 93 Cobra for $6000!!! I wish! Thats been on my list for a long time, maybe in a couple of years. And you'd be surprised, I've sold many many Stangs for well over $6k.

Though ive seen this argument a few times (mustang pricing, i will agree with on a few things). Reality is, an 18 year old car is usually not worth 10-20K like most guys expect (there are exceptions).
There are forsure foxes worth 6,000... But they wont be mint because the market has dictated that a min LX go for 10+
A car is only worth as much as a buyer will spend. Sadly, being the seller, you never end up ahead, thus, not worth selling. Drive it into the ground!

As for a cobra.. at $6000 canadian it will never ever happen. LOL . You would have to be in such a special situation to acquire a decent cobra for that price. Expect to see them around 14-20K Canadian or in US currency. They can be found in the US for a fair price.
