The reason he is saying this because I say my car is a 35th Anniversary since it has the badge on the inside.. He says that my cars not a 35th Anniversary because its not the red one w/ stripes..

I told him why wouldnt it be if it has the badges?

all the cars made that year were 35th anniversary, the ones with the stripes were the 35th anniversary special editions.

Just like mine has the 30th Anniversary logo embroidery on the seats, yours has the 35th Anniversary designation on the dash. It means it's the 30th/35th anniversary model year, not a 30th/35th Anniversary Commorative model. And that is what I think little 3.4L boy is misunderstanding.

yea my car is a 92 so its 25th aniversary it just doesnt have the heritage package which is just stripes.lol

it was in the 35th year, but its not the anniversary model

actually, the heritage edition also had certain colors and the interior matched the exterior, the dash, seats, etc...

iono about 35th anni.. but im almost positive that some of the 97's whihc would be the 30th aniversary have the logos on the seats and such.. but i dont think all of them do.. i think some of them are just plain.. not anniversary editions...

no all 97s have the dash plaque, and all 02s have the dash plaque.

it was an option and was just appearance

Wrong. The 97s do not have a dash plaque. It just says "CAMARO" like all the other 97+ years. All 97 model year cars have the 30th logo embroidered or stamped in the seat headrests, and in the middle of the rear seat cushion.

really? can you buy a 30th anniversary plaque for it? cuz i saw a regular z28 and it had it.

Are you sure that all the 02's got the 35th Badge? Because for some reason I was thinking that not all of them got them sorta like they did for 97..

yea not all of the 97s did

97s did not have a dash plaque. I think maybe the commemorative editions may have, but not the regular cars. ALL 97 MODEL YEAR CAMAROS had the 30th logo embroidered/stamped in the seat head-rests.

2002 cars all came with the 35th Anniversary dash insert.

i wish my seats in the firebird were embroided :(
