I need the Wintec 2 E-Prom for my Electromotive TEC 2. I think the model is WT202T2. Does anyone know where I can get one? I don't want to start tuning until I have this installed.

I don't understand... why would u need an eprom for u'r TEC2?

Does it not have one anymore? Why was it removed?

If anything SEM Motorsports is an authorized Electromotive dealer, they should be able to help you out.

I don't know the specifics of it, but the E-prom has the firmware on it or something. I need to replace the existing one with the new one to use On Fly tuning, which is the major feature of the WinTEC 2 tuning software...

I got the car running last night. I wired in a relay, then hooked up the fuel pump, cranked the engine over, and it fired right up. Not bad if I say so myself...

ahhh... okay... so you need a firmware upgrade... i'm guessing it's something that you can order from electromotive then...

Even then, I should warn you.. some tuners I've spoken with say that tuning on the fly with TEC2/3 doesn't always work, and that you might have to tune indirectly still.

In either case, like I said... try giving SEM a call... Ask for Marco. Tell him Sascha sent/told u to call... They'll be able to get you what you need.
