Arrived at a crossroad.
 

Ok I have decided to try to stay in the Camaro world. I now have enough money built to start modding my car with a lot of performance mods. But now I have two options. Option 1 is to start modding my LT1 and option 2 is to sell my LT1 and upgrade to an LS1. What would you do? It is cheaper to spend the money on the LT1 and I do prefer the styling of the LT1 car over the LS1. But the fact that the LS1 has better performance is a sticking point.

keep the LT1. all the money you spend on a swap can get you a blower for the LT1.

keep the lt1.. you can make it perform.

Just get the ATI kit and you'll be set.

swap, LT1's are torque monsters, but you'll notice bigger gains in the mods to the LS1 as compared to the LT1's. With a mere 1000, you can make it a good 330rwhp car.

LS1 all the way! You can get them cheap as hell these days, and Adam's right, for very little money, you can have a MUCH more powerful car...

I say keep the lt1 alot less work to make good power (the whole thing would have to be made to fit for an ls1 the mounting is different)

id go with the ls1 the possibilitys are endless

i love ls1's but the lt1 is a good eninge and you can make plenty of power with it

Ls1s are sweet. U can make a qwick Lt1 car thoe too.
