Alright I thought I would just give you all an update of whats going on with the car. Thursday the 11th I took the Z into the shop to get painted. (And its killing me) I went there again on Friday so he could talk to me more, and then again on Monday. On Monday the car was all sanded, had the new hood and spoiler on but he still needed to do more sanding.. They have my camera and are supposted to be uploading them to the internet so I could see whats going on but nothing yet..

You all know that I have the Hot Wheels wheels and just today I bought myself some 275/35 on all 4's tires. I decided on getting the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT's.. So in 1-2 more weeks I will have my car back from paint and it will be sitting on its new rims and tires..:D

Thanks everyone! They still havent posted the pictures:( They told me today that one of my panels was horrible with bondo and layered with paint like 7 times.. They fixed all that.. Yay I cant wait for my car!

Update: I love Discount Tire Direct.. I ordered my tires YESTERDAY and they come TODAY..Highly recommend doing business with them.. And again.. No pictures yet!

yea Discount Tire is the ****. and so are those BFG NT's. im pissed they havent made a 275-40-17 yet or a 315. they need to get on the game with that.

Update.. I went tonight and checked out my car again (havent seen it in over a week) and it is farther than it is in these pictures.. He said it should have the base coat on by Tuesday.. :D yay But there has been alot of extra work that they didnt know about before and have fixed it.. I cannot wait to get it back!

3k even... He quoted me before they started all the work and said if he would of know that my car needed that much attention it would of been more.. So I think that 3k for a custom paint job at show quality is really good.. Plus he is switchin over the rotors from teh v6 to it and puttin my new rims on.. So the final pictures of the car will have new rims and everything on.. I wish I had some extra money to get my lowering springs and shocks but I guess those will have to wait..

Oh I found out that carfax sucks because my car has been wrecked..:(

ive never owned an Fbody that HASNT been in a wreck.lol. my 93 Z had the least amount of damage of them all, but hell you couldnt really tell, and it lowers the price a bit too so mehhh.

looks good tho, cant wait to see it come together at once!

Well actually it aint gonna be black pearl.. I didnt want to go with it because it was too dark gray looking.. So its going to be a metallic black w/ a black cherry pearl stripe.:D

And its goin to be stored till winter is over at my gma's..

i hate stripes but when they are kinda hiddne with the paint they look so sick......ther is a black z28 around here that has ar eal deep purp stripe on it

I seen a black Camaro at Camaro Super Fest that had that purple on the cowl and some on the side of the car.. Looked killer cus you really couldnt tell it was there..

I remember that one, it looked sick!
