I dont know about the blue devil, but gm is in the works of building a supercharged Vette, It would most likely be a similar version of the eaton that is on the new GT500. If they do it with the LS7, 600+ HP is a given. With the difference in weight, the Vette will lay the smakdown on the Viper.
Added weight to the Vette will be the only downfall. Replacing the composite intake with a heavy blower, intercooler, intercooler pump, heat exchanger, coolant hoses, and added coolant will probably add 100-150 lbs to the nose.
I just pray that they dont call it a Corvette SS. Gm has really killed the SS name plate.

150 pounds is nothing. especially if you're gaining another 100 or 200 hp.

The power definately makes up for the weight in a straight line, but that 150lbs is all hanging on the nose of the car, it will have a negative effect on all other aspects of performance that the Vette accels in.

Defintily. Corvette rocks the world basically. Just bring it to LPE... Theyll take care of it :thumbsup:

They need to turn up the boost on that, or give it a better tune... thats some low numbers compared to what Ive seen. Damn... TT Z06 is like my dream..

If you read through the post they say it's not making more power because LPE puts an extremely safe tune on it. They do that since they put a five year warrenty on the engines.
The guy took it to another builder and he said with the way LPE built the engine it could easily handle just under 1,000rwhp without any problems.

I did read it... thats why I said they need to turn up the boost ;)
