Came very close to getting a Mazda 6 today.
 

I know a friend who works at a Mazda dealership and over the years he has worked his way up the ladder (basically a high ranking salesman). Well, I ran into him today at the mall while I was looking at a Mazda6. Since he works at a Mazda dealership he told me if I wanted to I could stop by and he would see what kind of deal he could get me. I found a black Mazda6 with black tail lights, very stealthy looking car. Car had the V6 and could basically be considered loaded. After the discount, trade in, and the down payment I would have to get a loan for about 5K+ (basic guessing). I took it for a test drive and the 6 feels great on the road. Car had some nice pep and a clean interior. The offer was very tempting but in the end I had to pass it up. For some reason all the new Mazda cars (beside the gay Miata) like the 3 and 6 are starting to grow on me.

The 6 is not a bad looking ride. I wouldn't bash you for getting one. The only thing i dont like is the fact it's a 4 door. I dont like 4 doors. But it would be a shame to see the camaro go if you did. That would be one less vert in the family. *sighs*

I hate to say it but sedans are basically becoming the standard for cars.

yeah because america is populating to fast... and the new standard is larger families... i hate to see sports cars and muscle cars turning into 4 doors, and family vehicles, but on the other hand, its nice to say you have a sports car among everything

Alot of the new 4 door cars are actually very fast also. I would love to own one of those new Chrysler 300 C's. Now those are nice cars.

yeah, but i think those look stupid, althought they have a nice size engine in them... i could save a lot of gas by driving a hybrid, but i think those looks stupid also.. you sacrifice coolness for a benefit :lolsign:

A lot of cars are being ruined by the 4-door tho, ie: the charger... just completely ruined be being turned into a 4 door :(

i'm looking at getting a Mazda 3 or 6 next year(most likely the 3), once we are in the other house, and having it as my DD.
