Can you heel-toe?
And not the kind where your face hits the horn and you beep going around each corner :hah:
Yes but not very well, I always over rev. Still learning.
I should point out that in my car, because of the pedal position and my size 12.5's, I can't actually hit the gas with my heel, but I keep the left side of my foot on the brake and I hit the gas with the right side. Same effect, just not using the heel and toe ;)

Learning at the moment on a Skyline. A little tricky to say the least. Why I didn't think of this method when I lived in Canada, I have no idea
Yeah , I over rev also. Stiff manual disc brakes . You gotta push fairly hard on the brakes , it screws up my throttle control..77.
wow how can you not heel toe i do it whenever i drive.
I do it all the time allthough I do it the more easy way just by rocking my foot to the right as I cover both pedals.
Camel-toe is better than Heel-Toe
Oh and I can't heel-toe my car because my brake pedal is ed up (have to bleed em and get new rotors and pads) |
haha, sounds like a lot of people should be rocking automatics...
if you cant learn the basics... :hah: :knock_tee |
For me it very easy, in my atomatic shitbox, as you brake, just select lower gear (like 3, or 2 in some cars) and will downshit by itself, and just applyu gas right away. :)

You can heel-toe on pretty much any car: spongy pedal, super stiff brakes that have almost no complience, far pedals, close pedals, just a different technique. Practice doing it everytime you gear down for a week and if you haven't got it down.. well god help you
