Car Accident
 

I posted this on the local board about what happened..

Well after getting my car's rear end and some other **** fixed finally I was hoping to take my Camaro to the track last nite. Went for a short drive earlier in the day and some biatch hit me :( She pulled over into my lane on L st. and I slammed on the brakes when I saw her coming but she ended up clipping my front corner. Damage isn't too bad. My fender was ripped in two and the bumper has a huge dent in it. I'll pry end up getting the whole thing repainted because I was going to next spring anyway. I've been told the paint is very difficult to match since it's not a stock color and idk the paint code. I'm not hurt or anything and I'm glad the damage was as little as it was.. I just hope insurance takes care of things right since the police didn't issue the ho a ticket... she's saying that I ran into her :roll: This f'n sux it's my first car accident ever.. she didn't even stop on the road after she hit me and I had to get up beside her and keep yelling at her to pull over. Damage to her cavalier was minimal just some rubbed paint.

I'll need to get a new front bumper and fender and I think I'm gonna go ahead and replace the ground effects too and have the whole car repainted.. so my question is does anyone know where I can get another Wings West W-type ground effects kit fairly cheap? I didn't see any when I checked ebay.. same goes for the front bumper and fender.

**** that sucks, looks like what almost happened here (she spun out at 70 on the interstate and missed everything) did she get a ticket (probably not since the police now don't like to write them even if they are required)

wow, that sucks. Some people are horrible drivers. It doesn't surprise me that she drove awway like nothing happened after she hit you. Some of the stuff people do on the road is just ridiculous. Hopefully the insurance compnaies get it all worked out to benefit you. You can find aftermarket fromnt bumpers and fenders on ebay for around $50-100. I saw them on there when I was looking for some new ones before. The GFX may be a bit harder to find cheap. Were the GFX damaged? It didn't look like they were in the picsture, or maybe I just couldn't see it. But if you do decide to replace them, I'd be interested in the ones you're selling.

Well the gfx weren't really damaged from the accident.. they've all got some cracking tho and the back has a piece cut out in the middle. The guy who I will most likely have repaint my car says that he can fix them so I'll pry keep 'em. As far as the lady not stopping well I slammed on the brakes and she hit my car and continued into my lane! I had to get up beside her in the other lane and yell at her to pull over. Oh I'm also thinking of getting my car repainted like this wut do u all think?

haha nah unfortunately he is not included.. those two pictures really show off how I would like the color to look tho.. slightly darker than what I currently have
