steps to solve high hp engine/stock computer in 3rd gen RS in florida...

Step 1: remove intake and all fuel injection crap along with every piece of emmisions equipment

Step 2: Install carb and intake with new fuel pump and AFPR

Step 3: Throw computer out

Step 4: Tune carb

Step 5: be glad you dont have to deal with stupid bull ****:)

Wouldn't he be able to just yank a computer out of a early 90's chevy TBI pickup?? I would think that would be the best route, just have it reprogrammed for your tranny and gears. Or I could be wrong

idk. i think on your car you could just get a carb and intake, and rip the computer out.

check with painless performance, they have a wiring harness for your trans (so you keep the lockup converter) that would be the only thing left that's ecm controlled on your car, pull the ecm, and realize it doesn't start as well cold, gas milage sucks, and when something goes wrong takes longer to diagnose
