Car is out of the shop...
 

Well after much scratching of heads and wondering I decided to tear apart the motor again to see if by some chance something that I put on somehow got misaligned or something. From starting at having to take of the elbow on the TB, We had the motor apart and were looking at the timing gears in easily under an hour. Everything there looked good so I started the build-up again, making sure that everything was put in exactly right and how it should be.

I am not sure what the problem was but the car now starts and idles beautifully. The other good news is that the computer from the other car somehow survived and I was able to put that computer in the new car. However, with the 1.6 rollers and a couple other small things it is throwing off the tune on the car, not to mention my fuel pressure is still being stock regulated, which I am sure is putting the computer thru all sorts of wierd phases.

So its getting way too much fuel, it seems like the car is loading up with fuel when you get on it, also it stumbles real bad when you step on it. Not sure if a have a bad spot on my fuel map or what.

I didn't have time to wash the car tonight after getting everything wrapped up in the shop and I have drill this weekend. I will try and get it washed up on sunday and take some pics if I get time and the weather cooperates.

There are a couple things on this car that should make this car unique and set it apart from just about everyone else out there. But unique in a good way of course-

Timeslips will be a little while yet..Going to make an appointment this weekend to have the tune tweaked to the new car. Hopefully with the couple add-ons I did we can get closer to the 500RWHP mark. I know a lot of people have gotten that much, but how many have achieved it with the stock block, crank and pistons?? Not too many that I know of..

500hp on stock internals?! Good luck with that.

I already achieved a 500 horse motor on stock internals..now I want 500 to the ground.. :devil:

When I get them I will send them to you..as long as it doesn't rain I am lookin around sunday early evening to have pics...

Just so you know I won't be home until later on Sunday so I won't have them up right away and I might not even get them up until Monday because I have to get up at three in the morning.

Ok- but no fair hogging the pictures to yourself when you get them- they are for everyone.. ;)
