Okay so today I went to start my car and it did nothing, i turned the key and it didnt even click. So I jumped myself off and it ran, then when i turned it off, it wouldnt crank. Well I drove it around for awhile and I was doing 55 and i started to slow down and it jumped to 60 then back down to 50, and my radio and radar detector turned off. So I dont know if it is the battery or something else like the alternator...any ideas would be great.

Same thing happened to me in the summer, i would jump it and it would run then the rpms would drop and all the lights would start popin up on the dash and the monsoon head unit locked itself, turned out it was the alternator, i am still on warranty so i just called my dealership and they came with a flatbed and threw a new on on for me

great way to check ure alternator is start ure car, turn everything on (lights, sterio, power seats n windows, give it more of a load then it would normally see

bad alternator more than likely, but a bad battery can do that also take it to advance and have the charging system tested, you'll also want to get a battery car batteries hate being deep cycled (thta's what a complete discharge is)
