Be carefull of this auto mechanic shop
 

Dear friends,
This is a real case.
My uncle (an 80 years old gentleman) took his car to an auto mechanic shop for checking brake and replace tire. End up:

1. The shop sold him two brake rotors that are more expensive than the dealer list price. Plus, bolts could not be fitted in properly. Therefore, both front brake rotors were loose. But the shop told my uncle the ball joint need to be replaces. End up cost him more than one thousand dollars.
2. The shop also sold him four pieces 13 inches 165 tires. 3 pieces made in Chile and 1 piece made in Brazil. They don’t even have brand name on the tires. The shop charged him $260.00 for 4 pieces of those no name tires. And charge him for alignment instead of balance the wheels. Please note that Bridgestone with the same size is below $50.00 a pieces.

My uncle has to spend another $175.00 to get the brake fix at a dealer shop. The only punishment that I can do is to tell other people the name of the shop.

u mean silverman helps? ya contact him, tell him ur story, then the whole city is gonna know about it, show him the receipts, chances are ur gonna get all ur money back.

Add Race Tech to that list heard countless amounts of crap about the owner joe ripping people off left and right. Prolly why he has no work.

How come this crap ripper still can survive in the market? The only reason is some elder people like my uncle believe all people out there are good guys. (Too bad!!!!!!!!!!)

Bento's Auto & Tire Centre Ltd is a CAA approved Auto Repair Services (According to their business card). Just wondering What CAA does and how CAA monitor their approved Auto Repair & Service facilities. When there is a complaint about their Approved Facility, What consumers should be doing and what kind of punishment will be applied?????????!!!

I work on the other side of that corner and pass by it everytime i goto johnnys.

Looks like a sleezy place dude, i wouldnt even put gas in my car from that place!

I heard bad stuff about Bento's Auto & Service Centre on dundas and if this one is related I wouldnt be surprised if the same stuff is goin gon, I would take to Silverman helps and the work about these mechanics who take advantage of elderly people and people in general.
