you can't argue with this |
finally they get an engine above 5.0 and a better transmission. i wonder what it will retail at. thing that pisses me off is that they don't go bigger in engines really they just add the superchargers, why?
superchargers are just more efficient. Think about it, All you need is a pulley swap and a tune, and you have a car that retails for under 40K and has almost 600hp. what's wrong with that?
600hp stang? show me.
Just look at what they did with the 03/04 cobras with a pulley and a tune. they had amazing response from just BPU's. 575hp fro $1200 from a 390hp car. so from a car that is close to 500hp, 600 shouldnt be unreasonable.

they should do both then they will have crazy hp |
but 600 would be is too much for must people
you can pulley swap and turn, maybe chip, exhaust, and intake an 03 and up cobra and have a NICE AT LEAST 565whp car. And I hate that body style, so i'm gonna say no.
Yea, but this time you have more cubes- 331 vs. 281, still supercharged, all forged internals with 4v. heads, a six speed, and a straight axle. Now don't get me wrong, performance wise, the new cobra will not compete with the new z06 because of weight, and handling, but it's still a heck of a deal for under 40K right?

what are the new z06s price tag anyway? isn't it close to 70K?? Someone will supercharge the new z06 undoubtetly(sp?) but i think the majority of z06s will remain naturally aspirated unless the owner goes into the motor. From what i understand, they have pretty high comp. ratio don't they?
