Dirty Tint Job

I've got a tint job on my 98 civic and it's starting to peel. it looks like dirt so i just wanna rip it all out! how do i do this and actually get everything clean again (tint and sticky, glue-like film)??
help me out!!!

get someone to do it for you. you don't just peel it off. they use different chemicals to remove the glue and tint etc.

any ideas where i could go??

Tint removal,

Heat Gun and razor blades thats how i did mine and it turned out MINT! Just watch when you do the rear defroster that you dont damage the wires. After you peel it all off, buy Eagle one 20/20, it will clean whatever is left off the window.

GOOD LUCK !

I've been using them since 97 (On Queensway and Kipling). But 4 weeks ago they f*cked up real bad and still did not resolve the problem. Every time I call or visit them he keeps says that it's coming or in a few days. Simply BSing. Anyways, I've tinted 7 of my cars there and referred many of my friends to them of last years.

If you want to risk, go to Tint King.

i'm guessing you did not taste the sarcasm in my reply to your thread... no matter. yeah my buddy had some issues with the Kings of Tints as well. when his pealed he used some kind of high intensity adhesive remover to clean it up. try brake cleaner lol :eyes:

I got, it was in the "shops screw up thread". I trusted them before and did not have problems, however I will never go back to them if they don't get my problem worked out. In fact I will tell everybody not to go there!
