Vemac...what's that? Nothing but a little company that competes in the JGTC and have a few road going versions. one of them carrying a K20 in the back. Look at the date/page of the mag and check it out for yourself...

you just dont get it. for 60k, you can buy a car that is capable of power, luxury, handling, you name it, not some in cut up used honda.

and i had already mentioned in the other thread a gutted interior doesnt bother me, i have a car that has almost 1,000lbs removed over stock, while you have probably lost 100lbs in your car, only to gain 300 with a body kit and neon lights.

guess what. those are race cars doing what they were engineered to do. do these s drive these same car to and from work every day? NO! i wouldnt have had a problem if you had said "buy boxter/350z/rs4/s2000/vette and gut it for track use"

people like you buy a 1,000 scrap special, cut it up into a tincan with the saftey level of a shopping cart, put 10k into it in mods, and slap around some high dollar cars. dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with that, i love doing it too, but i dont think for one second that somehow my car is better all around because it beat it over some distance in a straight line, while he drives it home with his heated leather buckets running to keep him and his wife warm.
i like light weight race cars too buddy, but for 60k on a daily driver, i would do better then a cut up fwd honda.

i dont believe i said anything bad about the k20 either kiddo, hell they use it in the ariel atom too...
