I guess Dodge is trying to beat all of the Camaro press, that will be coming next month. I have mixed emotions about that, I think Dodge's unveiling won't be so special since the Challenger is already out in the open. On the other hand how will this affect the Camaro Concept since it will be 2nd on the scene, yet the unveiling will be a bigger event for the Camaro. Also I believe the Camaro Concept will be on plastered on magazine covers everywhere next month. I think Camaro will still be the star of the show due to the surprize unveiling and 35 years of heritage.

Still for 35K it can run (if not beat) a GTO.

NoRiceInside 12-29-2005 01:01 AM

Mikerock 12-29-2005 02:29 AM

I agree with you Fred, that's a lot of money for that car.

If i were to buy anything new, And by the looks of the new charger, Id get a Corvette. Muscle cars, who ever owns one and complains about Fuel mileage shouldnt have a the car they do. But with 14mpg city thats Not really that bad half of us get that now and Dont have as much performance as this thing. And i am guessiong that it took alot of the drag stip to get to 174mph and they had more to go, but how much time does it take from 50-110? I bet its more than 5 seconds.

What i am saying is that with $30,000 we could make Most any F-body keep up with the new breed of the dodge Charger. We may not pass emissions but we could do it with less than $35,000

I dont like newer cars, I like the older ones, I hope you can understand.. I do like the new Mustang, Charger and Corvette because they are American Muscle But I like the Older True Muscle. I am tired i am going to bed
