Egr simulator
- The Easy Performance EGR simulator will allow complete removal of the EGR system from your car without setting any check engine lights.
It simulates the electrical functions of the EGR and keeps the PCM thinking that everything is ok.

Install- The install is very simple plug the egr connector into the unit and take the 2 wires and tap them into each side of the middle wire of the MAP sensor

Function - Some have seen some results with this product. in my overall experience with this it made my car keep throwing a P1406 EGR pintle code. it is suppossed the keep the ses light off but it did not.

Would I Buy Again ? - No definetly not. i could not return the product which i felt was the sellers fault and i needed to get a pcm tune to have the code properly deleted.

a bunch of bs in my book but its something with soleniods and yeah i don't know and that's probably why mine is not fixed

hmmm... mine works fine. no problems. did you buy yours new? did you possibly tap the wrong wire?

EGR is exhaust gas recirculation.

thanks alot parr.. i know this.. it is a pump that pulls exhaust air from the manifolds/headers and recirculates it through the intake manifold, reburning the gases and supposedly giving you a more complete, through, clean, and atmospheric friendly burn of your engine input components (i.e. gas)

yes thats right. nowever i tune for 100 dollars will you get you no EGR codes ever again and you can get other things tuned while your at it. thats what it cost me for my tune that was done with LT1 Edit. no EGR code since it was done and ive had mine disconnected for more than a year now.

and i know it would be better to just do a tune, but thats not so easy for me.. you obviously dont know the complications of finding someone to tune a 97 3.8 engine.. lol.. or the cost.. or the cost to reflash the PCM everytime i mod it
