yeah that is awesome news! it looks nice n straight! but one thing, before you start her up, replace the throttle valve spring. thats what broke. i can almost guarantee it. the springs job is to close the throttle valve, so thats is what broke.

You tell the car hasn't been started in a while, look at the dust on the wind shield.

Look at that... writing on the windshield. :lolsign: Glad everything is coming together, and looking good. |
epics a lil doosty

Stick with the 93-97 front end. 98-02 is sorta funky lookin'.
That's the best reasoning I could give. It is early in the morning. |

Well as you all know i have decided on the 98+ front end. (I hate calling it an LS-1 front sice she still has my trusty little LT-1) but the update today is that Ron just left me a message saying his work is done. I'm going over there tomorrow on my day off with AAA's help and bringing her home. Already have the fans, and the AC condesor and Pep-boys should have my radiator today. Saturday is going to be FUN!!!
BTW - i dont' think i'm putting the windshield washer reservor back in. Waste of space and i never used it anyway. Maybe i can creatively find a way to route out the impact bar from the openings in the bumper cover to cool the radiator better. Just a random thought. Yay, my baby is coming home. |
