this dude at work has a white 2001 mustang 4.6L. its really clean and very nice. i like it a lot. as i was out driving i saw one and it sounded so nice. i started thinking, maybe i should get a mustang...

then as i was closing up the front some guys were outside and some dude got in his LS1 and did a lil burnout. after watching that, im back to chevy :eleph:

sorry would take a nice camaro or T/A over a stang anyday.

Wow you make it sound like you've never seen a Stang GT in person before. IS that all it takes to wave you from one side to another... thats sad.

No offense but it's a GT, what's the big deal? It looks like a sedan and it has a smaller engine by over a liter, plus one less gear!

the gt isn't even that fast I've driven a few and they just didn't feel like a quality car, you must need a v-8

thats probably all it is. anything with a V8 is appealing to me.

I almost got a '98 GT Convertible.....I needed the V8 fix as well....glad I waited though. :D

You need to get yourself a lt1 soon if you're starting to think like that.

don't get me wrong, i think stangs are nice cars, and have pondered buying one a few times, but imo camaros have more goin for em

stangs = boxes on wheels. The newest model is nice, but the one before it was FUGLY. That, and they're slow. :) Never go for a Ford... never.

I almost bought one at auction with a bad motor planned on dropping a 350 in it and scaring a few people :lolsign:

I allmost bought a mustang before my car, a 89 5.0 GT but my dad wanted me to get something newer with airbags and all, im glad i did cuz it made me into a f-body lover ill never buy another muscle car othen than one

i dont know anymore...i saw that nice LS1 last night, but today a green LT1 stopped by me at a light. it sounded throaty as hell. i want the LT1 for sound but i want the LS1 for power :(
