Found a car I like.

Their is a 98 Transam I'm looking at in a sales paper and I'm going to check it out soon. Headers, air intake, and some other mods are already done to the car. It is white with T-Tops and has ZO6 rims, this might be my start into the LS1 world. :)

archemedes 01-27-2005 09:43 PM

miles? asking price? sounds sweet!

RFF 01-28-2005 03:08 PM

Called the guy up and found out he is selling his son's car for him, 130K+ miles and he wants $11,500. Guy must be smoking crack.

RFF 01-28-2005 03:09 PM

Kelly Blue Book values the car at $7,315 and that is with a very good condition rateing.

meissen 01-28-2005 05:04 PM

I got mine for 6,000 with 34k on it.. with 130k I wouldn't pay more than 6..

1BADVETTE 01-28-2005 06:20 PM

omg, 130,000 miles on a 1998........insane.....it's been ragged to **** and back.

dam, that's ridiculous. Some people really have no clue about how to price a vehicle.... and the worse thing is, is that there is always someone out there that would pay tha much unknowingly.....

the mileage is a lot, but its less than my car had at the 7 year mark. The guy who drive mine drove alot. At the 7 year mark(which was when I got it), the mileage was 175,xxx.

archemedes 01-29-2005 07:37 PM

which is what really drives prices up, people who know something about cars won't pay it, but there are fewer and fewer of those people around

Sad but true.

RFF 01-29-2005 10:44 PM

Found another TA I liked for 13K but I found out something interesting. I would need to burrow about 3K to buy it and that would translate into about a $100 a month car note. No problem right, but come to find out my parents refuse to cosign for me on anything.

meissen 01-30-2005 12:03 AM

sorry to hear that bro.

camaro94 01-30-2005 12:45 AM

that sucks....
