Good News/Bad News

First the good news. My Strano sway bars came in today! :eleph:
Other good news, my red Z06 calipers came in.

Bad news, they sent me Hawk HPS pads...for the rear instead of the front :banghead:
I'll have to stop by the local auto parts store now to pick up the front pads. Hopefully they have some nice ones.

I'll just try to sell the rear pads online.

Just please dont buy them from like Advance auto or something. I'd order the brakes online.

I can't order them online and have them installed by Thursday so I can have the C5 Z06 brakes for CSF.

Haha sorry.

That sucks Chad, but I really thought it was worse than that. What kind of pads are you gonna look for and where?

A-RoN'sZ 06-27-2007 02:11 AM

And I really wish I lived closer, so I could come to CSF, but it would take me like forever and a day to get there from where I live. We went to Indiana once when I was younger, and it seemed like it took forever.

I think its worth the trek- as life plans are right now, I hope to make it out there next year since I'll have some seniority to take some time off. We'll see. By this time next year hopefully my motor will be done...but thats a whole other topic right now..

Bernotas05 06-27-2007 04:22 PM

Just grab some bendix brakes or somethin from advance auto.

When I was little we use to drive from WI to FL for vacation. That's was a nice little trek. I was happy when we starting flying for vacations after that.

That's what I'm going to do. I just need them to last a couple weeks so it's not a big deal.

Karps TA 06-27-2007 10:46 PM

If I remember right it took me 14 hours to get from Milwaukee to Atlanta. And that was with getting stuck in Chicago morning rush hour traffic. So it's not too bad of a trip. I want to say coming back was done in around 12.

A-RoN'sZ 06-28-2007 02:09 AM

I might make plans next year to go because we have some friends that live in Indiana. Where will it be next year?
