How's this for expensive

Now I like these trucks and all, and have seen them selling for around $20,000 in perfect shape, but wow that's alot

There is absolutly no way those are real bids.

I'm not a truck fan but I do like the Typhoons and Syclones.

JimmyFrance 07-06-2005 04:50 PM

that thing is hideous.

1BADVETTE 07-06-2005 04:54 PM

But they're quick for trucks, along with the Syclones(sp).

JimmyFrance 07-06-2005 05:21 PM

It was in really good condition there's just no condition worth 98 million dollars for ANY car.

archemedes 07-06-2005 11:27 PM

no kidding I watch the barrett jackson auction and get amazed at a $200,000 car

camaro94 07-06-2005 11:43 PM

97z2801ss 07-07-2005 01:19 AM

what about the 5million dollar Hemi Cuda?

archemedes 07-07-2005 01:23 AM

I don't think I saw that

camaro94 07-07-2005 02:02 AM

the million dollar hemi cuda convertibles are a thing of fact. In fact, I have the mag around here somewhere. But it wasn't 5 mil that he sold it for unless he sold it again. Though he said it is probably worth 5 million.

camaro94 07-07-2005 02:08 AM

This is the ’71 ’Cuda that actually holds the record selling price for musclecars at $3,000,000.
whole article here: http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicl...uda/index.html

archemedes 07-07-2005 02:11 AM

I still don't think any car is worth that much

like quick enough that someone did a study and the syclone accelerates from 0-60 faster than a ferrari testerossa. 4.9 seconds 0-60.

yeah he still has the white one according to that article of hot rod, which he considers to be worth 5 mil. . He bought it for 2 mil, then sold the blue one for 3 mil, which makes the blue one so far the most valuable, with the record for sale price. He won't know if the white one is worth 5 mil unless someone will pay that 5. The blue one holds the record as of this point. .

This is the white one:

http://hotrod.com/featuredvehicles/1...7_cuda05_z.jpg

...already sold his other ’71 Hemi ’Cuda ragtop—a blue one—for $3 million, dropping the white one to number two on the list of muscle-machine selling prices...

camaro94 07-09-2005 07:12 PM

That guy has lots of pricey, rare cars though: the white ’Cuda convertible, one of the nine ’70 Hemi Challenger convertible four-speeds ever built, one of two ’70 Hemi Coronet convertibles, a ’69 Hemi Coronet convertible, a ’68 Hemi GTX convertible, the blue ’71 Hemi ’Cuda convertible (with only 236 original miles that sold for $3 million), a ’70 Chevelle SS LS6 convertible, a Panther Pink ’70 Challenger T/A, a ’71 Ram Air GTO Judge convertible, a yellow ’70 Hemi Charger, a ’69 Charger Daytona with a 440 and four-speed, a bright yellow ’70 Hemi Superbird, and a ’69 Z/28 with cross-ram carbs.

Mikerock 07-09-2005 07:57 PM

twin turbo v6 AWD.
I would say its pretty quick.
ANd yeha i have the same issuse of that 3mill cuda, those are very rare cars.

archemedes 07-09-2005 08:35 PM

still not worth that much, I mean it's a car at 3 mil would you drive it?

97z2801ss 07-10-2005 02:33 PM

yea man cars are ment to be driven

archemedes 07-10-2005 03:01 PM

that's why they have tires and engines, if they were menat to sit in a museum they wouldn't need rubber tires, or an engine plastic would suffice
