yea, dont do it on the vette.lol. j/k you will be able to get it. i started learning on my dads 69' camaro. not the best choice for a begining car to learn on but what are you gonna do.lol, just dont let it out too fast and when u feel it start grabbing then hold it for a tad and give it a little more gas from a stop, and then let it out all the way slowly. idk hard to explain. the only way ull ever get it is by doing it. you will get your own way and figure it out just by trying it again and again.good luck

yea, its the only manual car we have... i cant wait to drive it tho, its a beautiful car... and its still in mint condition

JesasaurusRex 03-10-2005 09:31 PM

nice dad. Id never let you drive it, especially to learn on :nana:

Dcalado_ 03-10-2005 09:44 PM

im not sure... its all stock tho...

69z-28 03-10-2005 09:45 PM

o. prolly like a 3.08 or something is my best guess.haha. tahts gonna be the worst car learning on. i started trying while my dad had 4.10s in his car then he swapped them to 3.43's and i was like omg its so hard now.lol but youll get it.good luck

Dcalado_ 03-10-2005 09:47 PM

haha yea, i tryed once when i was like 14 he let me i could barly see out of the thing cause u sit so low, i ended up laying a bit of rubber then stalling it

imported_Sincere 03-10-2005 09:48 PM

Yeah....the only way to learn is just dive right in...

Mike Jones 03-10-2005 10:00 PM

That's a good car to learn it, with all the torque it'll be harder to mess up.

Just remember, you WILL stall it, you will mess up but that's just part of learning.

69z-28 03-10-2005 10:01 PM

true about the torque but with that rear end gear its gonna be a lot harder.lol

Practice Practice Practice, I learned on a Fiero, which has one of the hardest grabbing clutches of all manuals. Not an easy task, but you'll prolly get it pretty fast.

RFF 03-10-2005 10:29 PM

It would be impossible for me to learn on a stick. I have to go up an incline and then pull out onto a hwy, so yeah if I stall the car I'm dead.

Dcalado_ 03-10-2005 11:00 PM

well im gunna start off in a parking lot and then once i get that ill go onto the roads
