Pulled my heads today to see how far in the hole my pistons sit in so I can buy the right headgaskets and get my compression ratio just right. Now all the easy stuff is done, next comes putting on my new Vortecs, new intake and recurving the distributor to match the new setup. I also used our new lift for the first time to take out my headers from the bottom... and it's AWESOME. I love it already. Now I'm not dreading the suspension rebuild so badly. I think I'll be either heat wrapping or beadblasting/painting my headers too. The SOB's are fugly.

What a guy's gotta do for ~400hp, it's rediculous...

The lift is definately awesome. It's not hand crafted, just a million years old. I'd say it was a good deal for the $50 it cost!
