Lost a little of Epic...

Kinda funny kinda not. Got out of work yesterday and was heading out to Torrance for our monthly WCFB meet. As i got off the interchange from the 210 onto the 605 i guess i caught a big gust of wind (or maybe i had my foot in it too hard) and i lost the iner driver side wheel well splash gaurd thingy. I heard it rip off, get drug under by the tire and expode out the back of the car. At first i though i had blown a tire... but i still had control. I pulled over, figured it out, said "eh, **** it" and kept going. So... anyone know if it's bad to drive around without that thing? Hahahahaha

NoRiceInside 04-16-2005 03:58 PM

no at all bad.

my dad didnt have them on his fairlane, instead he had fender well headers that you could see right through the wheel well. it looked sweet. guess you know what that means Grant. time for some big polished Long tubes.lol

:lolsign: A friend of mine that I know has an import, he was driving and his wheel well cover fell off and it made him spin out across 8 lanes of the highway.

the only down side is in the rain you may get water in the ignition (not to mention dirt in the engine compartment)

SLPowerZ 04-16-2005 09:02 PM

ya, would probably be good 2 replace it

check on ebay, I've seen some for pretty good prices there. Or, of course, a junkyard.

NoRiceInside 04-16-2005 09:21 PM

uh...you guys dont get it...this isnt the inner fender well...its just the splash guard. the water wont get anywhere.

SLPowerZ 04-16-2005 10:33 PM
