My Car's Update
 

After a lot of thinking and such I've decided where I want to go with my car.

For performance about all I'm going to do from here on out is some 4.10 gears and a full tune. I don't race the car so it's plenty fast enough for me right now.
For apperance I really need to go through the entire car and fix all the little things that aren't perfect on it to get it where I want it. Then I'll tint the window's and that's really going to be about it.
For suspenion I'm going to get some Strano sway bars to help me take the corners and just help the car handle better.
Now here's where I'm really going to get to work, the interior. I'm going to order all new amps in the next couple days for my stereo. Then I'm going to rip out the entire interior and lay down sound deadening material throughout the entire thing, this includes the mats, foams, and spray. I will be buying pitch black carpet. Plus some other plans I have but when I'm done the interior will look and feel like a high end luxery sports car. This is where I'm going to spend all my time so I should make it the best. Basicly this is where I really wanted to go with my '94 but I knew I had to have the newer body style and an LS1 so I bought this car.
Just wait and see, by the end of the summer I plan on having the ultamite cruse machine.

This will just go along with my phylosophy(sp) that a car should be able to do all things well without hurting anything else.
So I don't want a pure drag car, autocross car, show car, SPL or SQ car, etc... But I want my car do be able to do all of them well.

awesome. sounds cool Chad. i completely agree with you and you actually got that idea in my head about all around performance in every part of the car. thats why i put a small system in my car, cleaned up the interior a little and dressed up engine as well as performance. that sounds pretty sweet, it would be nice to have a quiet luxurious f-body with the performance capabilities. i cant wait to check it out.hehe. good luck

Man has a plan. And a good plan at that. That is about how mine will be going. Getting a firehawk for the fast car. Current ride is just a looker and nice to take on the twisties. I do have a LT1 block that I might build up a bit but haven't decided. Anyway, Chad, can't wait to see your ride finished.

Woot, just placed my order for the Kicker amps. I bought a four channel one and a mono class D amp for my sub. Tomorrow I plan on ordering tons of sound deadening material, I can't wait until my week off work so I can dig in and finally have a really good sounding stereo.

what amp series did you decide on chad? which ones did you order specifically?

I'll have to double check which exact ones I bought but they physically look like this one.

Sounds like a nice plan. And it's a better idea than two project cars like me. I'll never do it again. The slow car looks good and handles great, but the fast car is ugly and doesnt handle worth a crap. So neither is a great package...

Awesome plan Chad. I want my car to be good all around too... i think everyone does. Not a lot of people actually accomplish it though. Your plan sounds like it will work without flaw. What do you plan on doing to the interior exactly.
