Nascar IROC series
 

On the speed channel they are having a race of TransAm's...its so cool...I usually dotn watch nascar but the IROC series is fun to watch, especially with an F-Body.

evidently your too young to remember when they used Camaros (you have heard of the iroc camaro right?)

They are using an IROC car...Im not sure if it is the TA or Camaro...oh well

One of my fav gen camaro's happen to be an Iroc Z...

I guess it is the IROC concept...Iv enever watched this b4 so thats why i was thinking they were T/A's..the front end is rounded like one.

the new ones are ta's in the 80's they used camaros, then they used dodge daytonas for a while. IROC isn't part of nascar either (hence they get drivers from other series) it's just run with them because of nascar having more spectators than any other form of racing

OOOO Yes and Tony Stewart just won that iroc championship for 2006...Way to go SMOKE..

I knew they were firebirds/TA's....Yea i saw that tony stewert won, the indy drivers just cant compete with the nascar drivers...ahaha jk

most of the time they can't (the irl cars have alot of computers to help the driver as well as a lot less weight)

nascar racing is gay.

But IROCs are sweet.

The two together are not.

IROC these days is dumb

why is that? because the drivers have to be able to drive or just because it's not in a camaro?

because it isn't like it was in the old days when it was stock IROC's on the track i mean like an actual production car not some how fast can i go in this unrealiztic not stock vehicle

iroc has never been a real production car, always a skinned race car, just they looked a little more stock (they did change it in nascar because of safety concerns)

no not true when the iroc stated as a series everyone had stock camaros in the 60's this is true look it up
