News from Terrace (Cassi's 95 Z)
Been quite a week for this little blue metallic Z28 convertible. Cassi is very busy with school and work and her *cough* *cough* fiance *cough* so i'm speaking on her behalf.
Last week she when and ordered some new wheels. I posted in regards to this in the aprearance section a few days ago. Well she had planned on taking Terrace over there to get them on today since the shop had to order them. Couple nights ago while comign home from school Terrace died. Just stopped. It wouldnt' turn over but all lights and stereo still came on along with the usual ticking when you turn the key but it wouldnt' turn over. Not the battery cause thats practically new so i figure it's the infamous Optispark..
So she takes it over to her mechanic in ontario and since it's after hours they're closed. She locks it up and leaves Terrace there over night.
She gets back there yesterday morning and the worse has happened... somone broke into her over night. Didn't get much, a whole bunch of CDs, a bottle of purfume, some mechanic recipts... thats it. They tried to get the stereo but failed miserably and just started to tear up the interior. Center console, dash, door panels, looked liek a crowbar was taken to it.
They even took to the exterior slightly too. Kicked a hole in the door and messed up the tail-light panel trying to get intot he trunk. Insurance will take care of it but still. Terrace will be in gthe shop for the mechanical and interior and exterior for a couple of weeks at best. So needless to say we weren't able to put the new wheels on her today. We did however pick them up and they are sweet. 17"x8" allround polished 5-spokes with a nice 2 1/2"-3" lip with Yokohama tires. Once Terrace is back I will be helping Cassi put them on and installing the rest of the little apperance mods she has on order to compliment the wheels. Terrace is going to be very impressive after all this. Too bad this stuff had to happen. But all will be good eventually. And yes... i will plaster pics of Terrace all over here once she's back.
Oh, here's where my part in this comes in. I am getting the C5s back. They will need tires so Epic may not be wearing the right away but i will have them. They need a new coat of black. Hehehehe
