but with my FRCs and their red lettering this will look badass:

oh and the fins will be polished once this is all dry...it was just a ***** to mask them off perfectly.

RFF 01-15-2006 10:58 PM

lol, looks like you didn't mask off anything. I rather a white manifold myself.

NoRiceInside 01-15-2006 11:00 PM

i masked the intake ports then the TB and both EGR gasket surfaces then plugged the map hole and each injector hole and the PCV hole. the others i didnt give a ****. lol.

is your Z your daily driver? if so, take two days off work. its not hard removing the manifold, i can get it off in about 20-30 minutes. but to paint it, it takes a good day of waiting between coats, then when you reinstall it its a good idea to let the silicone harden for a day.

tell ya what grant...since you've done 4th gen front end body work...install my new TA bumper and i'll R/R your intake :D

MeenZ28 01-16-2006 01:39 AM

Well, the bumper cant be that hard bro, but if you're serious then sure. But lets wait till i have some free time. To be honest, i dont really want to touch the engine right now till i make sure she's all painted and good looking on the outside. Then i'll pick up some of those frc and paint the maniold just like you. ;)

Mike Jones 01-16-2006 06:54 AM

Looks really good, but did you know Brent sells decals for the stripes at the top?

69z-28 01-16-2006 09:36 AM

looks good caleb. id like to do that to mine, but i think im going for function before looks, i really only care how the body looks, and as long as its decently clean under the hood im happy. but that will look good, post some final pics for sure!

paarman97maro 01-16-2006 03:05 PM
