the power band of the lt1 is too low to work with the rest of the drivetrain (the trans shifts just before the real powerband on an auto and a manual the gearing runs out of steam)

Arch hasnt said nothing to make my mind different..... and i still think the lt1 has the ls1 beat on torque.... proven fact... and look at my wheels now.... ?????

bottom line... LT1 and LS1 have always and always will own any 4 cylinder or import/ricer. does that settle things?lol

The LT1 will beat out the LS1 in the first 60 feet but after that it is all LS1. Also unlike the LT1 the LS1 won't fall flat on it's face in the upper RPM band.
