I still like the C4 better, the C5 C12 looks good to but the C4 was the original and came with a full GM warrenty with the twin turbo's installed. Plus the areo kit is second to none.


The only thing I've never understood is the C4 4+2 tranny. What exactly is that?

i thought it was 4+3. either way, i THINK its just like 1st gear, 2nd gear then you have another after that, then 3rd and another and so on. maybe like slight overdrives?Frick if i know.haha.

I have 2 agree,.....I seen one about 6 years ago that was Canary yellow and done up just right, but no way in hell it could hold a candle to this one. I love the fact that corvette remained in the line up, and performed to it's potential,......but Man, the C4 bodystyle did Absolutely Nothing for me.

Back in 88, my buddy went to Alaska for a year to work on a crab boat. When he came back, he bought a red 86,.....and like I mentioned before, it was definitely fast and fun to drive, but I was just never able to get into to that bodystyle until I seen one with a ground kit on it. Once the C5's hit the streets....I said: "Now That's What I'm Talkin About"!

I may be one of the few,......But when it comes to look of the "Body"...... I would much rather have 2005 Z06. :)

You mean 06? They didnt have an 05 z06 ;)
