Seafoam

Ill recommend it again... Seafoam is awesome! I did the whole deal found here:

http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread...hlight=seafoam

Put some in the gas, oil, and internals. Then I used deep creep for the TB and such... After I started my car it smoked forever... I serisouly started to think somthing was wrong haha... Ill bet everyone thought my car was dying. but there was just so much **** built up, its running better now. My ses light came on, just like last time, but it went away shortly again.. still not sure why it comes on.

After I got on it the first time, so much smoke came out haha... But man, I love seafoam. Highly recommended, it cleans out so much junk.

I love seafoam, I'll be using it on Friday when I change the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, and wires.

cool i want to do this it doesn't seem to hard but i would have to do it when my dad is gone he gets nervous over little stuff like this

Adric 04-18-2007 10:56 PM

Yeah im gonna do it to my jeep this summer and change the spark plugs and such since they never have been changed.. need to get the pep back in the Jeep so I can frum roll Justin and pwnt him.

blue89vert 04-18-2007 11:51 PM

thanks for posting that here paar. im gonna do that for sure. how much does this stuff cost?

98CamaroZ28 04-18-2007 11:53 PM

I wanted to do it, but my dad thinks its for boats and is sceptical on using it on cars...lol

paarman97maro 04-18-2007 11:55 PM

its for everything... i should have gotten a damn video... it cleaned out so much ****.

its 7 bucks a can around here... a little pricey, but its worth it. Youll need two cans, and deep creep, which is probably like 5 bucks. Pick up a small funnel at wal mart for like $1 also.

blue89vert 04-18-2007 11:59 PM

oh thats awesome. i was thinkin like 20 a can haha ill have to pick some up this weekend.

ha I couldnt get to sleep I just did it to my Jeep. The end step when you pour a bunch in to kill the engine.. Well I did that and it didnt kill completly so I turned off my engine.. but my engine kept sputtering and running im like wtf. So after 10 secs of that I put my finger over the vacume line and it finally died.

Phate 06-10-2008 02:09 PM

I would use seafoam, if I could get to 15k miles before I have to rebuild her this time ;) lol

Adric 06-10-2008 02:13 PM

haha. yea I created a cloud of smoke as I did the spirited drive down my road. I also today fixed my Jeeps passenger door so it can be opened from the inside.. its been broken for 2 years now. I couldnt get back to sleep so I did a ******** of stuff today.

Also, I realized why my camaro was making epic fail noises. Ill make a thread when I investigate somemore.

paarman97maro 06-10-2008 04:47 PM

So is the jeep running better? When I move back Im going to do my escort and camaro. Once a year is my ruling.

First95 06-10-2008 08:42 PM

I'd like to try this stuff. The engine we just put in had surely been sitting for a while, so I'd like to get in cleaned up internally... Last we checked, it got 16mpg, very suckish...

Mike Jones 06-10-2008 08:45 PM

Seafoam is great stuff.
It's about that time of year when I need to run it through my LS1 again and do the full tuneup.
