should i take 1,500 for my car?

you guys know the deal with my car. i was offered 1,500 as it is. should i take it or wait?

NCamaro94 11-17-2005 11:18 PM

i would part it out and get more $$$$$ the engine alone could bring you 1200 easily with the trans if it is in good condition.

paarman97maro 11-17-2005 11:53 PM

yeah man, I think you could get a lot more than 1,500. Just remember all the $ and work you put into it.

69z-28 11-18-2005 12:23 AM

i payed 5,000 for it and put less then 300 into which includes springs that i didnt install yet:) im NOT parting it out. the car is going as a whole. if anything i migth get some of the mods like the shifter but i aint parting it out.

paarman97maro 11-18-2005 12:39 AM

Im just still in awe that it happened.. I cant believe its actually going :(. I dont want to see it go. You have one of my favorite cars on here.

I wouldnt go so far as to say easily... unless you have like 20 miles on the thing.

Me personally, it wouldnt be worth my time to rip it apart and part it out, so I would sell it as is - give some BS line about how you can't let it go for less than $1800 or something though, don't let the guy tell you what to sell it for...

exactly. im not gonna take stuff apart for someone who MIGHT want it. i honestly CANT go lower than 2,000. it would be takend too much out of my pocket.

meissen 11-18-2005 04:48 PM

Wish I had the money, I'd give you 2500 for it.

camaro_chic17 11-18-2005 04:54 PM

camaro94 11-20-2005 11:43 PM

if you don't want to go that low, then don't. Unless you don't have to get rid of it right, try to get the price you want out of it.

DDxHellRaiser 11-27-2005 04:18 PM

I'll probably buy it. email me with price, list of mods you have on it ect..

at auction it would go for about $1200 on a good day, most times your looking at $800, figure someone is buying it to fix and sell, it's a $3500 car in good condition (it is a salvage vehicle now, and is technically not street legal since no state will issue a license plate or registration for it until it's repaired and inspected)parting it out you may bring more, but you wll also sit on the parts longer, plus put alot of time in

paarman97maro 11-27-2005 07:31 PM

uh, he already sold it I thought.
