Sound System or Lowering Springs
 

my school has a car show in may so i want to do either some lowering springs or an amp and subs. both are about the same price, and i'm going to do both, i just dont know which to do first, because whatever is second probably wont get done in time for the car show.

a good sound system lowers the car slightly anyway :cool:

stereo :) Put some bump in that trunk.

The bump in the trunk is more noticeable than a drop. The average joe will not notice it being an inch lower.

For a high school car show I'd have to say the stereo would help you out the most.

x2 exactly. The average highschool chick is not going to notice it being lowered an inch. You'll get more girls by makin their bras vibrate with the bass.

Heck, my car vibrates just right with the bass sometimes that it uh.. well.. works good with the chicks lmao we'll just put it that way.

I would walk away faster from a car with a system than a regular camaro. Especially if its obnoxiously noisy. I'd rather see something better than that. Not just some speakers. Because to me, that's something pretty much every car has nowadays. Its the first thing everyone seems to do... Maybe that's why I don't go to the newer car shows much, and I stick to the older ones without a lot of newer cars with mega systems...

For a high school car show, a stereo would probably be better, since most high schoolers seem to care for that above anything else.. But I think you should lower it first. Who knows, you may have time to do them both for the show.

that high school theory you guys have is whats make me think stereo. the schools car show is in may. so that'll help me win :)

also arch, by the time the car show comes around, i will have a motor to show off, my cam/head project will be done :D

i think the administrators walk around and look. well i think ima wax it and make it really pretty and stuff, lotsa armorall, you know, detail it real good.
