:D hell yes, looking more and more like ive wanted it so far, in pic 2, you can see I got rid of that nasty black fire shield...

FrYd-RyS 08-02-2007 07:26 PM

do u actually feel any diff when driving?

98CamaroZ28 08-02-2007 07:28 PM

i noticed that the acceleration didnt have as much trouble responding going around a corner at 30mph and the steering response is better with less body roll.

FrYd-RyS 08-02-2007 07:31 PM

cool

ITSA6 08-02-2007 07:55 PM

should have been black.....but it's not my car, looks good anyway

98CamaroZ28 08-02-2007 08:39 PM

I personally like the red better, but thats just me ;)

whitecamaro96 08-02-2007 08:51 PM

98CamaroZ28 08-02-2007 09:19 PM

Looks great.
I love mine.
It stiffened up my car and took some rattles out that I had.

Question though, did you take the UMI logo off yours?

Mike Jones 08-02-2007 10:42 PM

Looks good, red was the right color in my opinon.

I honestly really didn't notice a difference when I put mine on. I just put it on for looks mostly.

I agree, I didnt notice anything either. It make the engine bay look a lot better though.

whitecamaro96 08-03-2007 01:43 AM

well they do look good but i figured they would help the handling at least on the hard corners does it not?

98CamaroZ28 08-03-2007 05:52 AM

I think it helped out a lot, but you guys already had a lot of suspension upgrades and ect so you might not notice it, my friend was like wow your car didnt roll as much in the corner and ect...I think its working good. And mine didnt come with the UMI performance sticker attached to it...him maybe they dont do it anymore. did some highway testing on the sharp turns on the off ramps and noticed it was staying with the turn a lot better and not slipping one way or the other and felt real solid taking the off ramp at high speeds.

did you copy that off their description? :lolsign:

and oh noes... your carz be startin on fire now!!111

98CamaroZ28 08-03-2007 12:45 PM

no I didnt copy the discription, maybe i tightend the bar to tight. The front end does feel a lot stiffer.

A-RoN'sZ 08-03-2007 01:44 PM

Sweet! I think it prob makes more of a difference if you haven't done anything else to the suspension yet. I'll see if I notice a diff when I get mine (hopefully gonna order in the next week or so)

98CamaroZ28 08-03-2007 02:46 PM

right on, my dad drove it today with me in the car and he was so suprised, he said he was feeling the diff even at low speeds, i told him you can take a corner even faster and hold it,...prob not a good thing to say but he said it doesnt roll as much through a corner and he can feel the steering response too, well i have 90,000 miles on the car, so the suspension has prob worn down a bit so most likely feeling the dif is more noticable. He was actually very impressed in the stability and firm handling. My dad is not a dumb guy, he is very intellegent(could have been in Mil Intelligence) and knows more about cars then I do, he was a combat engineer (fixed bulldozers and ect when they broke, he of course was a supervisor for 864th engineer batallion and did concrete work) and hes driven that car before I was even interested in cars, so I was happy that he noticed the difference. :D

A-RoN'sZ 08-03-2007 07:17 PM

Awesome!

green_machine 08-06-2007 12:27 PM

looks good, i definitely noticed a difference with mine. took care of a few rattles and made the front end feel alot stiffer.
