You do know that Carfax doesn't compile statistics or have thoroughly compiled on Canadian cars only those in the United States.

I speak from experience....RX-7, No Carfax accident, Car had a bent frame. Carfax disavowed knowledge and said "our Canadian records are not 100% spot on, as such we do not guarantee or adhere to guarantee's on Canadian cars".

If your getting a new pair of shoes, go American if you want to know the real history of your car. In Canada many cars have shady pasts, especially sports cars.

Just my suggestion and exactly why I wouldn't buy a Canadian Supra.

carfax was spot on for one of my cars

but I know for a fact the other was hit in the rear quarter, but carfax didn't pick that up

i dont think there is any substitute for a throughput visual inspection

I'm not placing a large amount of faith into CarFax, but it is a good thing to have.
